 Maureen Hickey holds a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education and a Master’s Degree in Sports Medicine & Athletic Training. She has been active in sports and recreational pursuits her whole life. She recently opened her own dance studio called MoDancing in Penfield, NY. She has taught Ballroom Dancing at Penfield Racquet & Fitness Club, Xerox Recreation, Perinton Community Center, Nazareth College and Rochester Institute of Technology. She has competed at the World Championships in Blackpool, England. She has also performed with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra for 3 separate concerts at the historic Eastman Theater. She is excited to start her business in Penfield and provide the opportunity for others to start their dance careers at MoDancing.com

PBA to Hand Out 3000 American Flags During Independence Day Parade
Board Members Chris Herlong and Lynne Crawford have been busy at work crafting this year's PBA float for the Penfield Independence Day Parade. Last year the PBA took home the First Place ribbon and Chris and Lynne are hoping for the same results this year. If you are interested in walking with the PBA float in the parade, please contact Chris and let him know. We need several walkers to help hand out American Flags along the parade route.  Penfield and Pen-Web Rotary Hosts GRE "Charting the Course for Business Success"
The Penfield Rotary Club will host Matt Hurlbutt from Greater Rochester Enterprise at its regular Tuesday lunch meeting on July 20th. Pen-Web Rotary will host Mark Peterson from GRE at its regular breakfast meeting on Thursday, July 15th. Matt is Managing Director, Mark is CEO, with them both talking about how GRE is attracting innovative new businesses to the Greater Rochester region. Both speakers are featured regularly on WHAM's "Eyes on Rochester," each Saturday morning from 10 - 11 am.
Members of the PBA are invited to attend either meeting:
1. Penfield Rotary meets at Shadow Lake Golf Club from 12:15 - 1:30 pm, buffet lunch for $10. Contact Jack Best , by July 9.

Penfield Rangers Soccer Club Hosts Penfield Bicentennial Fun Day
July 18, 11 am - 4 pm
Rothfuss Park
Live Music, coaching clinics for younger players, scrimmages for all ages, inflatable obstacle course, games, face painting, refreshments and special one-hour session by the Rochester Rhinos and Rex!
This event is a great opportunity for families to become familiar with Penfield's travel soccer program and to participate in some hands-on soccer skill training.
Energy Incentives for Small Businesses in Penfield
Businesses with demand of less than 100 kw can qualify for a free energy assessment and funding towards lighting upgrades. Visit www.RenewPenfield.org to get more information and to see how your business can benefit. Other utility incentives and rebates are also available for residents and larger businesses in Penfield.
The Web site provides connections to rebates and incentives, educational resources, tips to manage energy consumption, and helpful interactive tools.
Both RG&E and NYSEG are offering energy efficiency programs for small business customers with demand of less than 100 kilowatts. Eligible businesses will receive free energy efficient lighting assessments and 70% of the cost of recommended lighting upgrades will be covered by RG&E. The purpose of the program is to encourage small business customers to replace existing fluorescent fixtures with higher efficiency lamps and ballasts; change incandescent bulbs to compact fluorescent lights (CFLs); and upgrade exit signs to light emitting diode (LED) technology.
